The Great British Bake Off 2015 Time Is Running Out To Apply For Sixth Series
Have you ever watched the Great British Bake Off and thought…I could do that?
Of course you have, your cakes and bread are to die for – now it”s time to prove it!
There”s not long left to apply for the popular BBC baking contest”s sixth series – but there”s still a chance to impress Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry with your tasty treats.
Filming is set to start later this year, so be quick and get your form in before it”s too late.
Here”s what you need to know about applying.
First thing”s first – how do I apply?
Simple – head to www.thegreatbritishbakeoff.co.uk/applications to download your form and get started.
Who can put their names down?
Generally, as long as you”re an amateur baker – with no previous full-time work as a professional baker or chef – you”re almost good to go.
You”ve got to be as UK resident over 16 on 1 February 2015, and the website notes that "you cannot have acquired any formal NVQ or other professional catering qualifications in the past 10 years".

According to the application form, filming days are expected to be during March, April, May, June and July 2015.
Be quick! The application deadline is midnight on Sunday 11 January 2015 – so not long to go.
