Caught On Camera Angry Motorist Drives Repeatedly Over Elderly Neighbour After Scratching New Car
Shocking video footage shows how a driver repeatedly ran over her elderly neighbour after losing her patience when she scratched her new car.
Motorist Marina Skhurina was trying to reverse out of a yard after a heavy snowfall in the Russian town of Aldan, but got into difficulty trying to get through the snow drift.
CCTV shows a frustrated Skhurina reversing backwards and forwards as she tries to make a little headway, and refuses to wait when her elderly neighbour comes out with a small bowl of food to give to her chickens.
Skhurina is then seen speeding forward down the narrow lane, forcing the older woman to step to one side and causing her to drop the bowl.
Shocked to have escaped in one piece, the older woman struggles to recover the corn husks from the snow-covered ground, but then topples over when the furious woman driver comes out and starts shouting at her.
CENHelpless: The old lady lies on the floor after being repeatedly driven over
Skhurina, 37, claimed that she hadn”t noticed that her 67-year-old neighbour had fallen over as she then continued reversing backwards and forwards down the lane, running the woman on the floor over repeatedly in the process.
Unable to move, the old woman is seen to jerk in shock each time the wheels drive over her, and the ordeal only ends when the driver reverses back far enough to see the woman still lying on the floor.
But instead of dashing from the car to help her, the driver gets out and shouts at the helpless woman again, before kicking snow in her face and climbing back into the car.
Only when she saw the woman still lying there did she eventually call for help.
She admitted she was angry that her brand-new Nissan Qashqai had been scratched and said she didn”t realise the woman was there.
An ambulance called to take the woman to hospital said that amazingly she had only suffered light injuries thanks to the deep snow which cushioned the damage that might otherwise have been caused.
Police confirmed they are considering charges against the car driver.
