The nominations for this year”s British Academy Film Awards have been unveiled as The Grand Budapest Hotel dominates the shortlist.

Wes Anderson”s comedy has been nominated for 11 BAFTAs at the annual bash, including Best Director and Best Film.

Star Ralph Fiennes has been listed amongst the nominees for Leading Actor, while the film has also been given a nod in the Original Screenplay, Original Music, Cinematography, Editing, Production Design, Costume Design, Make & Hair and Sound categories.

Meanwhile, Birdman and The Theory of Everything follow closely behind with ten nominations as Eddie Redmayne”s performance as Stephen Hawking continues to earn him plaudits.

Benedict Cumberbatch”s role in The Imitation Game also continues to impress, and the movie was nominated in nine categories.
