Arsenal News And Transfers Isco Targeted In Blockbuster 64million Move
Here are today”s Gunners stories from the Mirror…
West Ham set to cash in on Reid
Arsene Wenger is making moves to sign Winston Reid this month.
West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has admitted Reid has “no future” at Upton Park and fully expects him to leave when his contract expires in the summer.
But Arsenal boss Wenger, who has made Reid one of his main defensive targets, is trying to get the New Zealand centre-half on the cheap in the current transfer window.
Tottenham and Liverpool are also keen and Arsenal have made attempts to jump the queue as they believe West Ham may sell for around £3m rather than let him go for nothing in the summer.
Bielik bid rejected
Arsenal have had a bid for Legia Warsaw starlet Krystian Bielik rejected.

It is understood the Gunners haven”t met Legia”s valuation for the 17-year-old defensive midfielder.
Bielik wants a move to the Emirates after spending a week in London prior to Christmas.
During the Pole”s stay in the capital he was showed around the Gunners” training ground in London Colney.
Arsene Wenger is desperate to toughen up the soft core of his midfield and reckons Bielik could develop into an important player for the north London club.

Arsenal prepare £64m Isco move
Arsenal are preparing an incredible £64m move for Real Madrid star Isco in the hope to beat up off competition from Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City, report the Daily Star.
In pictures: Arsenal”s January targets
Arsene Wenger has reportedly made the Spain star his number one target and is prepared to push through a club record transfer.
Isco moved to Madrid in 2013 but has often found his place in the team obstructed by Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.
In Bale”s absence, however, he became a pivotal man in Carlo Ancelotti”s side.
North London battle for Schneiderlin
Arsenal will continue their interest in the £25m-rated Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, although the club expects that a deal for the Frenchman would only be realistic in the summer rather than the January transfer window, according to the London Evening Standard.
PinnacleLondon calling: Schneiderlin could attract a bidding war
Schneiderlin, 25, is the club’s first choice for the defensive midfield role that needs addressing as a matter of urgency in the current transfer window.
Schneiderlin is also a major target for Tottenham in the summer and it is anticipated that he will have to make a decision between the two north London rivals.
Gunners hunting Raphael Guerreiro?
French paper Le Parisien report Arsenal will attempt to sign Raphael Guerreiro from Lorient.
BPIBack of the net: Guerreiro scores for Portugal against Argentina
Although Arsenal are not expected to move for the left-back until the summer it might show that the club are not quite happy with the options that they currently have (if the rumour is to be believed).
Guerreiro is just 21 and the Portuguese defender has already made three appearances for his national team and even managed to get on the score sheet when he played against Argentina in a friendly at Old Trafford.
